Design/Build is a term frequently used in new construction and remodeling. Basically, it means you receive your design and construction services from the same company.
Construction design is creating detailed plans and specifications for a construction project, that involves conceptualizing, planning and drafting of the projects structure, layout, materials and systems into buildable documents for construction. The goal to ensure the final structure meets project specifications, code standards, and client vision.
Knutson Custom Construction is a firm believer in the design/build process. We feel the most important thing about design/build is that we can offer a level of accountability and control that delivers a higher level of satisfaction for our clients.
Knutson Custom Construction was a supportive creative collaborator from design to build in the renovation project to achieve our dream home. The design team was flexible and encouraging as we added to or modified the plan during the construction process. The building crew was professional, talented and engaging. My input was considered and often sought. It was clear my satisfaction in the final product was the goal. People often talk about how stressful home building can be. While we certainly faced some unavoidable challenges, overall I found the experience uniquely enjoyable….
