In the past, people often hired a designer and a general contractor, a step that often added additional time and costs to a project. It also left clients trying to navigate between two parties, rather than working directly with one. The design/build route changes the traditional sequence of work, answering the client’s wishes for a single-point person responsible for all work on the project.

With this in mind we have an in-house design team (Knutson Design Co) with over 30 years of design/drafting experience. They can work with you from start to finish to get your project designed to be what you want it to be whether it is a new home, addition, garage, remodel, custom out building, etc. They will collaborate closely with you to bring your ideas to life, and infuse them with one of a kind style, design and purpose.
Knutson Custom Construction was a supportive creative collaborator from design to build in the renovation project to achieve our dream home. The design team was flexible and encouraging as we added to or modified the plan during the construction process. The building crew was professional, talented and engaging. My input was considered and often sought. It was clear my satisfaction in the final product was the goal. People often talk about how stressful home building can be. While we certainly faced some unavoidable challenges, overall I found the experience uniquely enjoyable….
