A cabin isn’t just a cabin, when you are on the shores of Lake Superior..it is more like a 2nd home, a home away from home. We were able to work with a fantastic couple who spends a lot of time at their cabin up the shore, so they wanted to make it more of a home. We worked side by side with them to design and put together every detail of their bathroom. The wanted to keep the feel for the north woods throughout the home. Keeping wood tones and natural looking rock details throughout. The fireplace in the main room also got a little face lift with a rock detailing on the floor. The shape of the rock detail mirrors that of the shore line of this couples cabin as well as the rocks mirror those from lake superior.

This home has a lot of character and personal connection to both the owners as well as the land surrounding it.
