Knutson had the privilege of working on the Duluth Forest Kinderhaus project. The founder of the forest kindergarten wanted an open concept “classroom” area inside with a large outside classroom area as well. The mission of the school was to provide an outdoor base primary education for 4-6 year old that weaves academic learning with play and authentic experiences in nature. We put a lot of time and thought into this project with the founder to make sure it had all the details it would need to be that special place for the youngsters to learn. We are proud that we can say we built this amazing school for these kids.
