Taking a small foot print of a house and transforming it into a 2 story family home is what this Duluth couple did.

The house that originally stood on their property was old and small and just didn’t fit the couples needs. So the house was torn down in order for the new 2 story home to be framed up in it’s place. Due to the size of the foundation the new home had to be strategically laid out to wisely use every square inch of the home.

Andrew created a beautiful, yet functional layout for the house. Knutson Custom Construction worked through the warmer than normal summer weather and completed the house in a few short months.

The finished product was perfect for a growing family with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry on the 2nd floor, a living room, family room and a 3 season porch. The house also had a front and back deck, the back deck was designed with a built in gas line for a grill.
