A lovely family moved from out of town to Duluth and purchased a home with a FANTASTIC view! They wanted their great room/kitchen to feel as fantastic as the view. We were able to work with them and give them a transitional style flirting with semi formal. The drama created is by the light wall plus the ceiling finishes contrasting the chestnut flooring plus the black island. The painted oak island and the herringbone backsplash offer some texture and interest. The color combinations are playful yet timeless which provide a near blank canvas for her extensive run collection.
